ABOUT THE SHOW

THE EARLY DAYS

The Edina Car Show started in 2019, and the very first show was in the Herberger’s parking lot at Southdale Center, pictured above.  The impetus for the show began when Rotary Club of Edina Past President Josh Sprague first started taking his 4 kids and their friends to shows around the Twin Cities.  After meetings tons of loyal owners and fans, and observing the fun for all ages at the shows, Josh approached his Rotary Club about starting a car show in Edina. The show was designed to be a fundraiser for the Edina Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Edina, as well as way to build community in Edina.  The show ran from 2019-2022 at Southdale Center, and then in 2023, Josh achieved his dream and moved the show to the 50th & France District.he Edina Car Show attracts thousands from all over the state, and each year, the show adds more amenities. And Josh's kids still go!
