Thank you again for supporting the 2024 Edina Car Show, now our second year at 50th & France with many enhancements, including new Lund's & Byerly's Food Court, Edina Liquor Beverage Gardens, Live Music Sound Stage, catered VIP ROOM for owners and sponsors, and so much more! We wanted to address some quick FAQ's to make your show day experience even better! Here is the list:
I did not register for the event, can I still come with my car to the show? This year, we did not have public registration. The US BANK lot however will be open at 10am and you are welcome to cruise in with fellow car owners! We also may have a no-show in our main display lot on 50th. If you are there, and your car fits within this year's groupings, we will get you in! We recommend you come spectate, park your car, and check in with the front gate at 11:45am. Bring a photo of your car!
When and where should owners check in for the show? Car load-in is from 10:00-11:30am, and the show starts at 12:00pm, with awards at 3:00pm, and exit at 4:00pm. 50th street will only be open for load-in on the west side (Halifax). We recommend you take Hwy 100 to 50th St/Vernon exit and proceed east directly into the District (see map below). Volunteers will greet you, give you your show placard and number, stamp your hand for the VIP ROOM access, and flag you into your reserved spot. The placard will have your show number on it which people can use to vote for your car for Best in Show!
What if it rains? This is a rain or shine show! In the past, we have had no problem with rain.. If it does rain, feel free to wait it out and the rain will normally pass quickly!
I'm a sponsor, how do I get VIP ROOM access? Go to the front desk in front of Lakes Sotheby's International Realty (where the DJ and Coffee is). Our staff will have a list with your name on it, and you can get a VIP ROOM stamp. If you want to add clients or guests to the list, reach out to Josh.
What kinds of cars will you have this year? Check out the EdinaCarShowwebsite and look at the 2024 Gallery! You can also look at all the previous years cars as well. Brands will include Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Maserati, Bentley and more!
What awards are you doing this year? We are doing 1 balloted award for Best in Show, and voting will be online via QR code, one vote per spectator. Best in Show winner gets a Lund's gift card. personalized artist rendering of their car by Ken Madden, MaddK Studio, and a trophy. We will also have judged awards -- Top 5 in Show. Each winner will get a Lund's gift card and a trophy!
What is the cost for spectators, where do you park, and is there food and entertainment? The Edina Car Show is a free event for spectators, and there are several free public parking ramps in the 50th & France District (see map below). Enter from the west (highway 100), and the first lot you will hit is the US BANK PARKING LOT, which is closest to the Main Street of the show and also free. This year, we have Lund's & Byerly's Food Court and Dining Area, Edina Liquor Beverage Gardens (ID Required), Drip Coffee Labs Cold Brew Station, plus all the restaurants in the District will be open! In addition, we will have 3 live musical acts performing at 1:15pm (Steel Drum Player), 2:15pm (Sis N Lil Bro), and 3:15pm (St. Paul Peterson), plus fashion shows at 1:00pm and 2:00pm,, courtesy of Explore Edina.
